Wide ranging and fully integrated manufacturing processes ensure the ability of Nettronic to offer quality built and tested generating sets with an extensive range of engine and alternator options. Key to the operation are the use of Cummins Iveco, Deawoo, MTU and MAN engines and Netpower alternators and these form the backbone of the Nettronic offerings.
However there are certain aspects of choice that need to be applied to ensure that Nettronic  can offer the product most suited to the end users particular requirements of rating, environmental operational conditions, in-country service ability of Nettronic Distributor and engine and alternator distributors and of course individual specification requirements. This means that nettronic is able to offer the use of many other engine and alternator choices

Options

Control Panels

The NET POWER SYSTEM offers a versatile range of control panel options including; manual start, automatic start, remote start, automatic mains failure and manual/automatic synchronising and load sharing. These are available to cover the complete power range. The control panels may be set mounted or floor standing dependant upon the final specification requirements.

Manual/Automatic Start Control Panel
This panel may be key start, switch start or membrane switch start and includes:

  • Metering for current
  • Metering for voltage
  • Metering for frequency/engine rpm
  • Hours run counter
  • Metering for battery volts
  • Engine protection for low oil pressure, high water temperature and over-Speed
  • Engine water temperature gauge
  • Engine oil temperature gauge
  • Engine oil pressure gauge
  • Emergency stop button
  • Alarm buzzer
  • Voltage fine control adjustment
  • LED Status indications

The panels also incorporate a PLC Controller with control protection and shutdown circuits for:

  • Engine low oil pressure
  • Engine high water temperature
  • Engine over-speed
  • Engine over cranking on start-up
  • Battery fault

This panel can be used in conjunction with Remote mounted ATS unit with self contained mains sensing and operational sequencing control.

This panel is generally mounted on anti-vibration mountings above the Alternator housing


AMF (automatic mains failure) Control Panel

This panel has all the attributes of the Manual/Automatic start panel but with:

  • Digital LCD Panel read out in place of individual meters
  • Auto Transfer Switch Control
  • Additional protection is available covering over and under voltage, over load and short circuit. The PLC also gives readout of Power Factor value, KW-KVA-KWH values.
  • The panel has an RS-485 interface and pluggable terminal connection.

    This panel is generally mounted on anti-vibration mountings above the Alternator housing



    Control Panel Options:
  • Battery charger
  • Alternator protection/isolation MCCB 3 or 4 pole magneto-thermal circuit breaker mounted on the Alternator housing or off the generating set baseframe. With this option the unit will be supplied with alternator cabling to MCCB.
  • Alternator droop kit for synchronising purposes.
  • Alternator anti-condensation Heaters
  • Complete synchronising switchgear, generally as floor standing control panels for set to set or set to mains synchronising. Complete with load share equipment. Duty cycling and start on load demand can also be incorporated.


    Enclosures
    With growing markets for environmentally clean power generation the use of canopies, containers and acoustic enclosures requires that Pillar Power System is able to offer a wide range of canopy designs.

These range from simple Weatherproof Canopies to cover a basic set to 40ft High Cube Containers custom modified for high noise level reduction, incorporating switchgear, fuel tankage, cable drums and connections as well as special heavy duty exhaust silencers mounted inside or on top of the enclosures. In all cases a fully integrated cooling system has to be engineered to ensure safe and controlled operation of the generating set. Lockable maintenance and access doors are necessary as is the design of inlet and outlet air louvers to ensure adequate cooling air flow and low noise level.
